. . . a step-on guide service in Waco and the surrounding area. I am so pleased you are considering a trip to Waco, Texas, in the future. I hope it is in the near future! As you make your plans, I invite you to contact me about being your step-on Guide while you are in town. Our city and the surrounding area have a great deal to offer in attractions and places of interest. Some are very well known, and some are beauties that are off the beaten path. If your visit here is for ½ day, a full day or more, I know I will enjoy spending time with your group.

Waco Step-On Tours was established in 2017, though my involvement in the step-on guide experience began before then. For several years I provided my step-on services as a volunteer through the Waco Convention and Visitors Bureau. In fact, in 2014, I was awarded the Volunteerism Award by the Texas Brazos Trail organization for commitment to the HoTLine Volunteers Program.  I am very proud of this award and strive to provide positive visibility and knowledge about our city. I am a life long resident of Waco and lover of all things Waco. I am well prepared with knowledge and enthusiasm that will provide just enough information to intrigue and engage your group.

How Can I Assist You:

Make your plans to arrive in Waco via bus, van or car – be sure to leave a seat for me! I am prepared to step-on your high capacity tour bus, a smaller bus or van.

Select your primary sites to visit based on the recommendations found on our extensive Waco Convention and Visitors Bureau Website.
Additionally, you can download the free app (Apple or Android) that provides outstanding Waco information.
I will be happy to offer recommendations for lodging, dining, shopping and sight-seeing in Waco and a 15 mile radius of the city.
Upon your arrival or preferred meeting time, I will meet you, welcome you and your group to the city, provide maps, coupons and other materials of interest as well as a small gift for everyone in your group.
Throughout the time you select, I will provide good information about the area and the sights you select while keeping the fun alive for your group of travelers.

Retirement, after nearly 20 years of service with a large, state wide organization as Manager of Training and Staff Development, allows me the opportunity to fulfill my desire to be a community servant. Now I absolutely adore giving away bits of my Waco knowledge to those who visit our beautiful city. My commitment to my community is deep and wide, just like the great state of Texas.
